1939-1949 Kodak Vigilant Six-20 Camera: This fine folding roll film camera has folding optical viewfinders and body release, with an Anastigmat 103mm f. 4.5 lens. All the speeds of the No. 1 Kodamatic shutter work as they should. Both the focus ring and the f. stops move smoothly. The glass is clean and clear, and free of dust, scratches, fog and fungus. The bellows look fine, and there are no pinholes. This camera was manufactured from 1939-49. I believe that this was an early model because it has no flash sync, as later models have. The outside leather is mint. This Kodak camera comes with a very nice leather field case, there is an access window to check what frame the camera is on, without unbuttoning and unscrewing the whole camera. (Evidently, this cameras case designer lived during the time when most families had the same one roll of film in the camera for Thanksgiving, Christmas, graduations, and vacations, so the frame window was a good idea.) In all my years of collecting, I've never seen another. As in its name, this camera used 620 film which is discontinued. But added to this lot are five rare and hard to find 620 take up spools, so you can re-spool 120 film, which is the same size, but a different spool, and is still available everywhere. Now you can shoot with your Kodak Vigilant Six-20.
