Ansco Semi-Automatic Camera: This vintage folding roll film camera was made in America in 1924 and is alive today, enjoying its 100th birthday, at this highly respected auction house in Willoughby, Ohio. The clear and clean ILEX Rapid Rectilinear f. 8 lens is free of haze, dust, scratches, and fungus. The shutter fires strongly on all speeds, and the f stops move smoothly. The bellows pull out nicely and are light-tight with no pinholes. The waist level viewfinder is bright and clear. The unique film advance motor winds and works very well. The camera's outside leather is nice and complete. The format size is 2 1/4 x 4 1/4, using Ansco film #6A or Kodak #116. Included is the film take up spool.
