Hans Wegner Mid Century Modern Getama Day Bed: A beautiful mid century modern day bed made by Hans Wegner. marked on bottom "Getama Gedsted Denmark Design: Hans Wegner." Measures 26.25" tall, 35" deep, 78" long, 4 post legs. Seat is not original . Rattan back is weaved and in excellent condition. Legs unscrew for easy transport. Back rest slides up to reveal more room for bed, and then replaced down to use as sofa. Hans Wegner was a prolific designer of elegant, and ebullient forms in the "Danish Modern" design.
