Approx Oil size is 8 1/2" x 6 3/4", overall plaster gold gilt frame is 18" x 13 1/2", painting is on a semi-hard surface and appears to be a hardened plaster. Philpot & Jackson, Florence retail sticker still on the back, there of been other known works in this manner with frame and technique attributed to Giuseppe Maraschini(1839-c.1900)
