Late 1940's Ansco Junior Press Photographer Outfit: Attention Ansco Collectors. This lot was one of the most sought after kids' gifts of the 1940's. After m any years of collecting photgraphica, this is the first complete outfit I've ever seen. I've seen the camera by itself and a few badges by themselves. Never saw one with the #11 flashbulbs or the assignment book (the best part). Assignments: Pictures of your school, home, an indoor scene, best friend, church, pet, sporting event, etc. (9 assignments). For a young aspiring photographer, this had to be the gift of a lifetime. The used flashbulb is the one I used for the test. Included is a roll of 120 film and a 620 take-up spool. 620 film has not been made for years. Seeing that film itself is the exact size and length as 120, many who have 620 cameras and still want to use them.-like the Junior Press Photographer in your home or on your street-can still buy a roll of 120 film. It's spool will not fit correctly in the 620 cameras, but in total darkness the 120 can be re-spooled onto the included rare 620 spool. It's done all the time. Now your Junior Press Photographer can complete his or her 9 assignments, and meet their deadline. Their editor, Perry (Don't call me chief" White will be happy. The batteries are new.
