World War II German SS Officers Sword with Original Portepee: Cast iron lion's head pommel with red glass eyes. "Reichsadler" (Imperial Eagle) on one side hilt, and "Schutzstaffel" (SS) on reverso. Raised oak leaf embellished knuckle bow, ferrule and cross guard. Black celluloid grip with triple twisted wire wrap. Incredible condition, unknown maker of blade, in black scabbard. Sword measures 38" in length. Very rare German SS dress sword.
