The Nash Logoscope in Original Case Nottingham: A very interesting piece of medical history. Dr. Firmin Nash designed the logoscope right before the personal computer. It was designed to function to suggest which further observations and tests would help resolve the diagnostic ambiguity and to logically exclude those which might be a waste of time and money. Using a slide rule, the kit includes plastic strips that correspond to a different ailment, like fever, influenza and the such. Difficult to find, they can be found in the London Medical Museum. This is a brand new one never used and in the original case with the original instructions. Coincides with The Nash Contra Logoscope which is also included in this auction.
