Tower 120 Box Camera Kit: I know there is a Tower cult out there. Tower enthusiasts are loyal to their brand. They will climb any tower, no matter how tall, in search of one of these Sears and Roebuck collectible cameras. If you are a member of the cult, then this rare camera kit is for you. This camera was made for Sears by Ansco from 1948-51. Originally, it was called the Tower 34 Box. But when it was assembled as a kit, including a light meter, instruction book, flash unit, and carrying case, it was renamed Tower 120 Box Camera Kit. (The camera named after the famous Chicago building, The Sears Tower.) This kit is almost complete, and on display it looks complete. The only thing missing is the Model 6430 light meter, although the empty light meter box is intact, along with the meter instruction book. The flash unit includes a #11 flashbulb. The kit also includes the camera instruction book and of course the Tower 120 camera. The number 120 in the name indicates the film that it uses. The 120 film is still available at any camera store. The film used by the astronauts on all the moon landings was 120, so the sky's the limit.
