U.S. Springfield Model 1855 Musket: Great civil war era firearm Mark US, Springfield 1855 and stamped eagle. Nipple is damaged and ram rod has been repaired or replaced. Also has the letters J.M. etched i the wood. Overall, a good early civil war era musket.
