(4) 100 Year Old Folding Cameras: Seneca, Ansco, ICA, Agfa: Three of the four cameras in this lot are more than a century old and still looking pretty good. These 4 cameras are from different manufacturers. The near mint Seneca No. 1 looks really nice. It was made between 1914-24. The shutter and f. stops work smoothly. The glass is real clean and clear. The rollfilm format is 2 1/4 x 3 1/4. The bellows are supple and free of pinholes and they fold and lock nicely. Thie foirst horizontally styled folding camera was this Ansco Junior Model A made between 1906-13. The lens looks really nice and is free of any fog, haze or fungus. The shutter T.B.I. works as it should, and the f. stops move smoothly. The red bellows are smooth with no pinholes. Included is the take up spool. The rollfilm folding bed camera, made in Dresden, Germany, from 1909-20, is an ICA Nixe Model 555, with a Hekla 135mm f. 6.8 lens, format 8x10.5. It has a waist level viewfinder, with a spirit level. The bellows are free of pinholes. The film used by this vintage camera was No. 122. The standing leg is missing. Afga Billy Clack No. 74, is the rookie of the lot. Made from 1934-40. This strut type folder has a format of 6x9cm. It has both waist level and eye level viewfinders. The lens is a Bilinar. The shutter sounds fine, the bellows have no leaks, and they fold out and back to lock smoothly.
