Oil on Canvas Equestrian Portrait of King Charles I 18thc copy after Anthony Van Dyck: This is a student copy of the famous Van Dyck original that is hanging in Buckingham Palace. It is the Equestrian Portrait of King Charles I on horseback accompanied by Monsieur De St. Antoine. This is believed to be a 18th century reproduction yet this is so well done. It is truly a gorgeous oil. There is one repair in the upper left that has been professionally repaired. It is set in a stunning heavily gilded baroque frame. This piece is very heavy and large. The canvas measures 35.25 x 44.25, and the framed piece measures 46.75 x 56.
