Conley 5x7 View Camera: This nice view camera is over 100 years old. Its polished cherry interior is a delight to the eyes, and you will smile when you see the beautiful brass shutter and the brass Wollensak 5x7 Extra Rapid Triple Convertible Lens- 8"-14"-18". But your smile turns to a frown when you set sight on the bellows and see that they're in really bad shape. If you win this lot and want to shoot with it immediately, you will have to throw a towel over the bellows until you have them replaced. The original bellows were red. The bellows pull out and return easily. The shutter fires nicely and the f. stops move smoothly. The ground glass is free of cracks and scratches. The springs that hold the glass plate or film holders have strong tension. The leather on the revolving back has come off, it was this way when I received it.
