1911 American League Reach Baseball: Great early baseball, from 1911 due to stamp appearing on west panel. 1911 "cork center" replaces "rubber" on south specification panel under "warranted" and above "5 oz. 9 in." Very rare baseball in any condition. No box Part of the HJC Minch Collection H.J.C. Minch, Cleveland native and avid Tribe fan traveled for more than 20 years to the Cleveland Indians Spring Training in Arizona. He was given an American League pass by then Indians club president Gabe Paul to travel and see any game for free. Included with every lot from this auction and his estate is documentation and article from Hal Lebovitz, (longtime Plain Dealer Editorial writer) describing Mr. Minch’s life with the Tribe. He was a well loved and a respected feature at Hi Corbett Field, Winter home of the Cleveland Indians every year. He was loved by the Cleveland Indians, and garnered numerous autographed baseballs and home made cushions from several teams which are all featured in this auction, and have autographs of many Hall of Famers as well as other players.
