Reisekamera Tailboard 5x7 Field Camera: This beautiful wood tailboard-style foeld camera can rise and fall, and shift the front and tilt the rear. This great field camera closes down to 3" x 10". Included are 2 well-made matching wood 5x7 plate holders. Both have assortments of septums of various cut film sizes. The geared track on the bed moves out smoothly to extend the bellows, if needed. The bellows are in great shape and are free of any pinholes. In the late 1800's camera manufacturers would attach a small ivory plate on the camera with the name of the camera store selling its products. My research shows that this camera store is still in business today in Hamburg, Germany.
