(7) 75-Year Old Black and White Undeveloped Mystery Film: All 7 rolls were shot in the 1940's or before. Listed below are the years they were on the market. The newest is the 620 film that was sold until 1995, but from the look of the design typefaces and the colors of the backing paper, I believe that our guess at a much earlier date is pretty close. Remember Ansco Plenachrome and Kodak Verichrome are orthochromatic, not like Verichrome Pan, that is Panchromatic. This means that you can develop this 75 year old film by inspection, under a deep red safelight. Here is the list: On the Market, Spool Size, Film, Manufacturer. I. 1896-1949, 103, Verichrome, Kodak Wood spool. II. 1899-1984, 116, Verichrome, Kodak. III. 1900-1961, 118, Verichrome, Kodak. IV. 1931-1984, 616, Verichrome, Kodak. V.1931-1984, 616, Super XX, Kodak. VI. 1931-1984, 616 Plenachrome, Ansco. VII. 1932-1995, 620, Plenachrome, Ansco.
